Suited for use in a variety of high-speed digital signaling applications, a new crystal oscillator is said to attain significantly reduced noise and amplitude by incorporating low voltage differential signaling. With LVDS technology, the F4700/F4710 can automatically impedance-match signals to the digital network, allowing for the synchronized timing of digital circuits. Voltages are 3.3V ±5% for the F4700 and 2.5V ±5%for the F4710. Differential output voltage is 0.247V to 0.454V, with 0.33V typical. Frequency stabilities are ±100, ±50, ±25 and ±20 ppm. Standard frequency range is 70 to 170 MHz, with frequencies up to 250 MHz available upon request. Operating temperature ranges from –10°C to +70°C with an optional –40°C to +85°C range available for most models. The F4700/F4710 measures 7 mm x 5 mm, and storage temperature is –55°C to +125°C. Pricing starts at $15.95 each/10,000. FOX ELECTRONICS, Fort Myers, FL. (888) 438-2369.
