Debuting as a complete solution for network-on-chip (NoC) development, the NoC Solution connects and manages communication between a variety of design elements and intellectual property (IP) blocks. It consists of the Danube IP Library, which contains a set of configurable building blocks and a suite of design tools for configuring and implementing the IP library as synthesizable RTL. The library includes three units: network interface units providing interfaces to the IP cores, packet transport units, and physical links. The NoCexplorer exploration tool provides an intuitive environment to capture dataflow requirements of the IP blocks. It employs a dataflow simulation engine plus parameterizable dataflow sources and sinks to model the system behavior. The NoCcompiler design tool creates a database of the specific instance of the NoC. It generates a variety of views in Verilog, VHDL, SystemC, or other standard formats including synthesis scripts. The Danube NoC IP Library is available as a licensable IP and pricing is based on customer requirements. NoCexplorer and NoCcompiler are priced separately and support either Linux or Solaris version 8. ARTERIS SA, Guyancourt Cedex, France. (+33) 1 61 37 38 44
