Establishing an Edge-Computing Ecosystem

A series of demonstrations show how to establish an Edge ecosystem, with systems that acquire data for training, enable proper sensor integration, and help deploy real solutions.

In this video, Yiding Luo, General Manager and Product Line Manager, Microcontrollers, at Texas Instruments (TI), explains some of the company’s scalable, integrated devices optimized for innovating and executing neural network-based applications. Offering fast, secure AI at the Edge with sensing, processing, and control products, TI technology enables powerful solutions that transform data to solve complex problems for perception, real-time monitoring and control, and audio AI applications.

A variety of applications use perception AI to sense, interpret, and respond to the world around them for object detection, depth and motion estimation, gesture detection, and more. By using real-time monitoring and control AI, the solutions can analyze data collected at specific time intervals to forecast future values, detect anomalies, and identify patterns for predictive maintenance.

Texas Instruments’ Edge AI Studio is a comprehensive suite of graphical and command-line tools designed to simplify the development, training, compilation, and deployment of AI models onto the company’s processors, microcontrollers, and radar sensors.
