Rugged and Mil/Aero Systems @ Embedded Tech Trends 2024

March 26, 2024
Check out the technology presentations from this year's rugged computing event.

This article is part of the Library Series: Rugged Systems.

Embedded Tech Trends is an annual event sponsored by VITA for vendors and the press. Part of the conference involves technical presentations. Many of these presentations cover VITA standards such as those related to VPX and OpenVPX. Others cover standards and groups such as SOSA, the Sensor Open Systems Architecture, used in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) system designs.

The ETT archive lists the video presentations and PDF files based on when they were presented. Here, I've grouped them based on topics that might interest you. I would like to thank Jerry Gipper and VITA for making these available to you.

I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University. I still do a bit of programming using everything from C and C++ to Rust and Ada/SPARK. I do a bit of PHP programming for Drupal websites. I have posted a few Drupal modules.

I still get a hand on software and electronic hardware. Some of this can be found on our Kit Close-Up video series. You can also see me on many of our TechXchange Talk videos. I am interested in a range of projects from robotics to artificial intelligence.
