Designed as an alternative to internal wire jumpers, PCB terminal shunts, or other types of interconnects, the 1K4 surface-mount slide switches are claimed to provide easy mode selection, even from outside an enclosure. The subminiature one-pole, two-position switches provide positive detent action and visible switch position to ensure dependable switching.
Pin spacing is 0.1" (2.54 mm), center to center, making the switches suitable for reflow soldering. They also feature a low profile of 0.13" (3.5 mm) and require only 0.36" x 0.39" (9.25 mm x 10 mm) worth of circuit-board space.
The 1K4 switches are available in EIA 481-2 standard, 1300-piece tape-and-reel packaging. Pricing is $0.396 each/10,400.
