Enlisting a VIA Eden 1-GHz/667-MHz processor that consumes 7W of power, the 3.5" ECM-3612 single board computer employs passive cooling, allowing it to operate without the aid of a fan. The board supports 128 MB of SDRAM and features a VGA function with up to 32 MB of shared memory by way of a VIA VT8606 TwisterT chipset that is capable of simultaneously driving CRTs and 18-bit, dual-channel LVDS LCDs. In terms of I/O, it includes two USB 1.1 ports, dual Enhanced IDE ports, one floppy-disk interface, four serial ports, one parallel port, one IrDA port, PC/104 expansion slot, and a compact flash socket.
