The SP6655 synchronous 400-mA buck regulator comes in a DFN package that occupies just 3 by 3 mm of board space. The regulator's 0.8-V reference enables low output voltages and is stable with ceramic capacitors. It also provides 0.3-Ω switches, 100% duty-cycle operation, and a 2.7- to 5.5-V input voltage range.
