The pairing of the BSQUARE technology found in the kit with the hardware platform results in a complete development environment with a significant time-to-market advantage for embedded Windows CE-based systems, it's claimed.BSQUARE CE Xpress Kits are built upon the firm's Platform Layer, which implements many of the standard interfaces of the portable Windows Driver Model. The LBC-586Plus SBC is based on a 133-MHz AMD 5x86 CPU. It offers core logic functions, a video controller, Ethernet controller, four serial channels, 48 bi-directional digital I/O lines, and solid-state disk support.
