Featuring four single- or dual-core PowerPC 8641 system-on-chip nodes, the DSP220 is thought to be the highest performance 6U VXS switched fabric-enabled board available for demanding digital signal processing applications. Available in six ruggedization levels including air-, spray- and conduction-cooled for extended temperature operation as well as resistance to shock and vibration, the board supports up to 8 GB of RAM and AXIS advanced multiprocessor integrated software. Each PowerPC e600 core clocks at 1 GHz, and each 8641 node supports two banks of DDR2 SDRAM with 256 MB per bank, 2 GB total per card as standard.
