With dimensions of only 1.45" x 2.28" x 0.5", UFM Series of modules are designed to convert common ac line voltages to 300 vdc inputs for most industry standard dc-to-dc converters. UFM500 accommodates power outputs to 500W or 750W from nominal 115 or 220 vac lines, respectively, while UFM1K converters feature 1000W or 1500W outputs from these same lines. UFM ac-to-dc converters are complete, autoranging universal front-end solutions for off-line switching power supplies, requiring only a filter, an input fuse, transient protection, and appropriate hold-up capacitors.
