The probe interfaces the logic analyzer to the processor with low mechanical and electrical intrusion, and the company’s electrically passive, 775-land probe adapter fits between the processor and its socket. During validation, the probe aligns the source-synchronous, quad-pumped data lines and double-pumped address lines with the b-clk frequency control signals. This is said to eliminate the need to consider multiple clock domains.
