Streaming at speeds up to 6 Msamples/s and claiming to be the market's fastest USB oscilloscope, the latest Picoscope 5204 dual-channel, 250-MHz PC oscilloscope features a memory depth of 128 Msamples and a real-time sampling ratio of 1 Gsamples/s. The instrument connects to a USB 2.0 port on any Windows laptop or desktop PC and offers an array of features including advanced triggering and an equivalent-time sampling mode that boosts the sampling rate to 20 Gsamples/s for repetitive waveforms. Other functions include a 250-MHz spectrum analyzer and a 12-bit, 125-Msample/s arbitrary waveform generator. Software provides an easy-to-use Windows interface and includes a waveform buffer and a probe manager that supports custom probes.
