Meghan Olson ’15 – School of Engineering

Meghan Olson hails from Penfield, New York. She received her bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and Design, Innovation & Society (dual major) in May 2014. She continued at Rensselaer as a co-terminal master’s student and will be receiving her degree in mechanical engineering. I have known Meghan since her freshman year – and I also know that she was close to Burt Swersey and considers him to be her first role model at Rensselaer. Her story will focus on how Rensselaer changed her life…and include a first person reflection on her experiences at Rensselaer.
