A flexible resolution, 100-Msps digitizer, NI 5911 plug-in card uses firm's Flex ADC technology for low noise and high dynamic range of -160 dBfs. And by using the firm's LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI software, users can build numerous computer-based instruments that reportedly can perform as well as many high-end, standalone instruments with similar functionality at a fraction of the cost. Instrument applications for the NI 5911board include 100-MHz, 8-bit oscilloscope, deep memory digitizer, 50 MHz spectrum analyzer, frequency counter and ac/dc voltmeter.
