An easy-to-use operator interface in a seamless, rack-mountable or desktop chassis with a motherboard or passive backplanes is provided by the MCH-502 chassis. A built-in, 10.4" passive (STN) or active (TFT) matrix color LCD is included with a VGA controller card. The unit is also capable of supporting both the built-in LCD and a stand-alone CRT monitor or PanelLink-based LCD panel simultaneously. All configurations include a wide range of options and contain five disk-drive bays, dual cooling fans with filters, and a lockable AT keyboard connector.The chassis provides either a motherboard or industrial single-board computer housing with a wide choice of backplanes- from 14-slot ISA or 13-slot PCI to configurable 13-slot PICMG (seven ISA, four PCI and two PICMG), 14-slot PICMG (eight ISA, four PCI and two PICMG) or a second 14-slot PICMG (six ISA, seven PCI and two PICMG).
