3U CompactPCI Serial Carrier Card Integrates M-Module Functionality

Jan. 17, 2014
To facilitate integration of flexible I/O, MEN Micro incorporated an M-Module slot to its G204 3U CompactPCI Serial carrier card.

To facilitate integration of flexible I/O, MEN Micro incorporated an M-Module slot to its G204 3U CompactPCI Serial carrier card. The M-Module, which requires only one CompactPCI Serial slot, enables the interchange of more than 30 I/O functions within the system. It’s screwed tightly onto the G204 and doesn’t require a separately mounted transition panel. Operating temperature for the modular mezzanine card ranges from −40 to +85°C, suiting it for harsh environments. The board can serve as the basis for 19-in.-based systems for transportation and industrial applications, such as data acquisition, process control, automation and vehicle control, robotics, and instrumentation.
