Measuring 0.4" x 0.4" with a maximum height of 0.185", two MLP-2205 single-channel, 5V transformers can be used for dual channel applications while allegedly yielding an overall footprint smaller than industry-available dual transformers. The transformer is available in ratios compatible with 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and 15V transceivers and its 0.185" height makes it particularly viable for smaller MIL-STD-1553 board topologies. Meeting all requirements of the MIL-PRF-21038 specification, the transformer operates over a temperature range from -55°C to +130°C. BETA TRANSFORMER TECHNOLOGY, Bohemia, NY. (631) 244-7393.
