Access Module Speeds Boundary Scan Learning Curve

Offered as an easy-to-learn and cost-effective test development system for first-time boundary scan users, the ScanWorks-EL hardware access module/system includes tools that users who are unfamiliar with boundary scan need. One of the tools included is a design wizard that automates the description of the scan path. In addition, the system provides an intuitive user interface that is said to simplify the test development process for verifying the integrity of a scan path. This interface also claims to facilitate the testing of board interconnects. Other features include a high-level macro language that will assist new users develop cluster tests that cannot be automatically generated by the system's other tools. Price is $22,250.
