This 3U or 6U CompactPCI board enclosure is mounted in a rack frame that elevates it on the workbench to allow space for a work area and cable routing under the enclosure. The Board Test Station is equipped with a 250W ac power supply, pre-wired to the backplane with additional power connectors for peripherals. Backplanes can be ordered with 4, 6 or 8 slots, and two 3.5" peripheral bays are provided for mounting disk drives. On the 6U version, a fan mounted directly under the card cage provides cooling for boards.
