EXCLUSIVE TO EEPN- Use of a high-frequency switching technology enables the Series 75 keypads to be sealed behind glass or virtually any other non-conductive material to guard against operator abuse, vandalism, chemical attack or washdowns. The keypads are a versatile, rugged alternative to piezoelectric, capacitive and touch-screen approaches in a variety of indoor and outdoor public-access and process-control applications.The pads have no switching contacts, no membranes, and no moving parts. Rather, when a key is touched, changes in a high-frequency signal identify and activate the key within the keypad or keyboard matrix. Pads are sealed to IP66 standards. Several configurations are offered, including 12- and 16-key units with various signal output options. Engraved, active key areas are 15 mm x 15 mm in size.
