Enclosures Provide Housing For Small Mobile Devices

product pic

The new Pocket-Card enclosures, though similar in size to a credit card, have enough depth to accept a pc board populated with surface-mount components. Ideal for small mobile devices, such as remote controls, medical alert units, and computer peripherals, the Pocket-Card measures 3.37" x 2.13" x 0.39". The recessed top section accommodates a membrane keypad and can also be ordered with a pre-milled slot for ribbon cable. The cases have an optional aperture in one end for fitting an infrared LED. Assembled by a single self-tapping screw, the cases also have four internal pillars to aid in gluing the case together to avoid tampering. The Pocket-Card is molded in off-white or black ABS (UL 94 V0). The cases also can be ordered with additional apertures for LEDS and connectors, as well as silk-screened with logos and legends. Quantity pricing starts at $2.50. TEKO ENCLOSURES, Bridgeville, PA. (800) 965-9872.
