Interconnection System Can Save Board Space

Dec. 1, 1998

Downsized equipment and reduced pc board real estate requirements are both made possible with the Low Profile System (LPS), an ultra-low, board-to-board and cable-to-board receptacle and header interconnection system. The receptacles feature a contact design on either 0.050 or 0.079 mm centers that can be mated with a variety of matching headers or existing pins. Applications include cell phones, pagers, notebook PCs, PDAs, and disk drives.
