MMX-Based SBC Suits Embedded Uses

Six serial ports, USB connectivity, solid-state flash storage, 10/100Base-T Ethernet support, and CRT/LCD graphics support are all features of the ZF SystemCard 5MX single-board computer. The unit, which integrates the firm's MMX-class Z-chipset, is suited for a wide range of embedded applications including Internet appliances, information kiosks, video gaming, POS systems and more.The unit offers full motherboard functionality with a host of enhancements that include serial and parallel I/O, floppy and EIDE disk controllers, a CompactFlash socket, a PC/104 expansion bus and the firm's Fail-Safe Boot ROM.
