Designed to meet the space and performance needs in medical and dental instrumentation and systems, the OFM/M series of medically approved, ultra-miniature, open-frame, modular switching power supplies achieves output power over the range of 5W to 15W. All models accept universal input from 85 to 265 Vac and 47 Hz to 440 Hz. A total of 21 models have single outputs from 3.3 to 24 Vdc and dual outputs of ±12 or ±15 Vdc. The power supplies are pin-out and size-compatible to more costly encapsulated modules. This series has an integral power-good LED indicator and an output adjustment potentiometer and operates over the temperature range of 0°C to 45°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain over-voltage and short-circuit protection circuitry and internal input filtering. The series is approved to ICE-950, EN60950, UL1950, EN601-1, UL2601 and CSA22.2-950 medical safety specifications. Dimensions are as small as 2.28'' long x 1.8'' wide x 0.83'' high. All models are designed for pc board plug-in mounting. Pricing starts at $19 each in OEM quantities. ASTRODYNE, Taunton, MA. (800) 823-8082.
