The iP2005A power manager is 40% smaller than its previous generation while its operation up to 1.5 MHz allows designers to further reduce board space by minimizing the value of output capacitors and inductors. Optimized for very low EMI, the device eliminates the need for external snubber circuits and thereby reduces per phase power losses by as much as 2.3W. Available in a 7.7mm x 7.7mm x 1.7mm LGA package, it is capable of delivering up to 40A at a 0.8V to 5.5V output. Pricing for the iP2005A begins at $3.31 each/10,000.
