Low package inductance and capacitance values, with a 60% reduction in board space over previous packages, highlight a new line of RF components. The family includes an RF Schottky diode and four RF PIN diodes in a compact, surface-mount, two-pin SOD523 housing. The diodes offer up low forward resistance, high speed, and compact outlines. The BAT15V-02V low-barrier Schottky diode, which provides RF detection, functions for wireless and mobile systems with working frequencies as high as 12 GHz. The BAR63V-02V, BAR64V-02V, BAR65V-02V, and BA892V-02V PIN diodes provide low forward resistance values down to 0.7 Ω at 100 MHz and 1 mA. They're designed for a variety of control, switching, and attenuating applications. All are offered in a 0.8- by 1.2-mm plastic package with a flat-lead design. Pricing starts at $10 per 100 in 100,000-unit lots.
