Providing static function-select settings on control boards, the A6RS series gull-wing, surface-mount rotary DIP switches accommodate a range of design topologies with a choice of flat or extended shafts, 10- or 16-position outputs, and terminal arrangements of 4 x 1 and 3 x 3. RoHS compliant, the switches withstand peak reflow temperatures of 260°C. Specs include a contact rating of 25 mA at 24 Vdc, maximum contact resistance of 200 mΩ, and an operating temperature range from -25°C to +80°C. Available in tubes or on tape and reel, price for the A6RS-101RF-P 10-position, top-actuated, flat-actuator component in a 4x1 terminal arrangement is $1.69 each/750 on tape and reel. An A6RS-161RS-P 16-position, top-actuated, extended-shaft switch in a 4 x 1 terminal arrangement costs $2.51 each/250 on tape and reel. OMRON ELECTRONICS LLC, Schaumburg, IL. (800) 556-6766.
