Touting a life span of over one billion switching operations, the MS Series of overmolded, micro, single in-line (SIL) reed relays features an internal magnetic shield that allows them to be closely placed together on crowded pc boards using automatic pick-and-place equipment. The reed relays measure 15.2 x 3.9 x 6.8 mm, have 1-Form-A (SPST) contacts, and can switch up to 10W, with individual maximum operational specs of 0.5A and 200V. The UL-, VDE- and EN60950-approved relays also offer a coil-to-switch isolation of 1,500 Vdc with a dielectric strength of 250 Vdc across contacts. MS Series reed relays are priced from $0.98 each, depending on quantity. For more information, contact Christine Diggins at MEDER ELECTRONIC INC., Mashpee, MA. (508) 539-0002.
