While delivering up to 7.5W of output power, the SR7805 series point of load switching regulators replace linear regulators of the LM78xx type for board-level applications requiring miniature size and a tight budget. In SIP cases measuring 0.45" x 0.3" x 0.4", six models in the series operate from inputs of 4.75 to 32 Vdc and provide regulated outputs of 3.3, 5, 6.5, 9, 12, or 15 Vdc. Standard features include efficiencies up to 96%, low noise operation, over-load, over-temperature, and continuous short-circuit protection, a MTBF greater than two million hours, an industry-standard pin-out, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C with no derating or heat sinking. Cooling is via free-air convection. MICROPOWER DIRECT, Stoughton, MA. (781) 344-8226.
