The Micro Card socket line has recently added the PCIE series PCI Express sockets that support one, four, eight, and 16 PCI Express links. They are 1-mm pitch sockets with industry-standard latching features for rugged applications that require retention clips on the boards. Sockets are available for perpendicular card interfaces and edge mounting to the board for co-planar card interfaces. The full line of Micro Card interfaces includes high-speed, riser-card systems, serial ATA interfaces, transceiver interfaces, and a variety of card interfaces on 0.8-mm and 1-mm pitches.
