Designers can use the SeaPORT REL-16 as a USB choice for digital control of status monitoring equipment. It offers 16 outputs for PC-based control and industrial automation applications like process controls, test equipment, audio switching, satellite/microwave network control, and analog multiplexing. Also, the 16 reed relay outputs supply reliable, dry-contact switch enclosures. Well suited for low-power applications (10 W maximum), the relays are normally open. They close when they're energized. Onboard removable screw terminals simplify wiring connections. The SeaPORT REL-16 additionally includes the Seal/O suite of Windows 98/ME/2000/XP drivers. Along with Windows drivers and utilities, Seal/O features utilities, application notes, and technical details to simplify installations. SeaPORT REL-16 costs $349. With the assembled DIN Rail Mounting Kit, it costs $359. All products are available from stock. OEM and volume pricing are available as well.
