A VITA 31.1-compliant VME single-board computer, the conduction-cooled VP 315/022-RC supports two 64-bit, 66-MHz PMC sites with rear I/O and a 1.2-GHz Pentium M with 1 MB of L2 cache. Groomed for harsh applications, the board is available in air-cooled and a range of commercial/extended temperature versions. Standard features include an 855GME chipset, up to 1 GB of soldered DDR ECC DRAM, and Gigabit Ethernet via the VME64x backplane. The board operates at altitudes of -1,000 to +50,000 feet in temperatures from -45°C to +85°C with no airflow. It handles shock levels up to 40g for 11 ms, sine vibration up to 5g from 5 Hz to 2 KHz, and random vibration up to 0.1 g2/Hz from 10 Hz to 1 KHz with -6 dB/octave from 1 to 2 kHz.
