The MAX2044 2.3 GHz to 4 GHz SiGe passive mixer for LTE, Wi-Max, and MMDS wireless-infrastructure applications boasts of an unparalleled combination of linearity, noise performance, and component integration over a wide band of operation. Configured as a downconverter, it provides 32.5 dBm of IIP3, 21 dBm of IP1dB, 7.7dB of conversion loss, and an 8.5 dB noise figure. As an upconverter, the MAX2044 delivers 33.5 dBm of IIP3, 60.2 dBc of LO ±2IF suppression, and a conversion loss of 7.7 dB. The device supports both high- and low-side LO injection architectures for 3.1 GHz to 3.9 GHz LTE and Wi-Max base stations and can be configured for 2.3 GHz to 2.9 GHz LTE, Wi-Max, and MMDS high-side injection architectures as well.
