Axis Network Technology made the first public demonstration of Xilinx Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD) technology on an its Digital Radio platform at Mobile World Congress. Axis' system architecture provides the capacity, performance, and flexibility needed to rapidly develop and deploy advanced digital radio algorithms like DPD and CFR. The platform additionally supports emerging network gigabit interfaces like CPRI and OBSAI, all within the same digital radio platform. The new Xilinx DPD solution works across a range of air interface standards, from existing 2G/3G standards to the latest OFDMA-based access protocols, such as WiMAX and LTE.
