Pleated Foil Cable Features Low Skew

May 1, 2000

The PFC pleated foil cable provides low-skew characteristics of less than 100 ps/m and meets the requirements for high-speed data transfer in telecommunications and data markets. It is claimed to have the same crosstalk, attenuation and rise times as the company's other PFC products.
The flat-ribbon construction is said to provide the user with the same cost benefits of IDC mass-assembly termination. Other features include solid-copper foil shielding, a heavy-duty PVC jacket, and UL approval.
