SMT Power Amplifier Covers 1 To 1000 MHz Frequency Range

Spanning the 1 to 1000 MHz frequency range for RF and microwave applications in the area of wireless communications, the ASMA-301 surface-mount power amplifier is well suited for such broadband applications as digital radios, wireless communications base stations, and repeaters. With simple external matching, the power amp is also said to be an ideal choice for 2.0 GHz PCS, MMDS and INMARSAT applications. The cascadable device offers a stable 50 ohm gain block featuring excellent linearity, internal biasing and single positive supply operation. The nominal power gain is 10.5 dB and the typical output power is +28 dBm at 1 dB compression. The amplifier is available in a SMT, 2-lead ceramic power package and is priced as low as $41 each in quantities.
