Designed for 8 mm x 8 mm package sizes, the CG-BGA-5009 socket accommodates 400-pin, 0.4-mm pitch BGAs. It operates at bandwidths up to 10 GHz with less than 1dB of insertion loss and features an easy-open clamshell lid with an integrated heat sinking mechanism. Contact resistance is typically 20 m? per pin and the socket connects all pins with 10 GHz bandwidth on all connections. Other features include an operating temperature range from -35°C to +100°C, a pin self inductance of 0.11 nH, mutual inductance of 0.028 nH, capacitance to ground of 0.028 pF, and a current capacity of 2A per pin.
