Benchtop Ionizer Eliminates Static for Industrial Applications

May 29, 2025
The new 230-V ionizer from EXAIR provides powerful, adjustable static elimination without the need for compressed air.

What you'll learn:

  • Insight into EXAIR's latest Veristat Benchtop Ionizer.
  • How it differs from traditional ionizers.

EXAIR unveiled the new 230-V version of its Varistat Benchtop Ionizer, which is designed to eliminate static in industrial environments over traditional platforms that use compressed air. The fan-driven static platform is engineered to provide a steady ionized airflow that neutralizes static charges and removes particulates effectively and efficiently.

The Model 8600 is manually adjustable and can be mounted on benchtops or machinery, suiting it for workspaces needing static control coverage. Unlike typical static eliminators, EXAIR's ionizer comes equipped with adjustable features, including a selectable input voltage (115 or 230 V AC), variable fan speed, and adjustable polarity. As a result, the ionizer is able to operate in myriad environments.

The benchtop platform can reduce static charges from 1,000 V to 100 V in just 0.8 seconds and comes with a pair of replaceable ion emitter points, two 30 PPI foam filters, and LED indicators to provide reliable, long-term operation. The Varistat is also UL-listed and CE-compliant and comes packaged with an Intellistat Ion Air Gun, a Gen4 Super Ion Air Knife, and a Gen4 Ionizing Bar.

EXAIR's Model 8600 Varistat Benchtop Ionizer is available now for $1,600.
