An ultra-small color CCD camera and processing/controller is designed to fit into systems requiring high performance imaging in limited space, such as medical imaging scopes or industrial inspection systems. The GP-CX261V module has a 1/4'' FPC-type, 5.4 x 6-mm CCD. The CCD is extended via FPC for approximately 85 mm. The camera head connects to a camera control unit (CCU) board that measures 50 x 11 mm. The unit requires only 6V for operation. And an I2C interface offers external control of mirror, ALC, sharpness, R/B gain, contrast, and other features. PANASONIC VISION SYSTEMS, Secaucus, NJ.
