In addition to being used with the EXERBAT-M card for PMC checking and exercising, the PBTM-515 PMC bus analyzer can now be combined with the EXERBAT-C card for CompactPCI (cPCI) debugging, testing and validation. The new, single-slot, 3U card contains a cPCI bus exerciser and protocol checker, supports 32- and 64-bit and 33- and 66-MHz systems, and supports both hot-swap and cPCI system controller functionality. Other features of the bus analyzer board include an 8-MB target memory, two DMA controllers, PCI protocol-sensitive sampling, and a choice of clock, transfer or transaction clock modes. The analyzer can be operated via USB or RS-232 ports from a Windows PC running the company's BusView software. The EXERBAT-C card is priced at $4,750.
