Industrial Controller Drives Flat Graphics Displays

Feb. 1, 2000

The RPC-2350 industrial controller board features built-in support for flat EL or LCD graphics displays. In addition to its graphics capabilities, the board provides a number of analog and digital I/O and counter lines. The controller's analog I/O consists of eight channels of 12-bit A/D, two channels of D/A, and 4- to 20-mA outputs. Its 49 digital lines are used for counting, timing and pulsed outputs. And its nine high-current lines can be used to drive solenoids, relays, LEDs, and small motors.Other features of the RPC-2350 controller include 512 KB of battery-backed RAM, support for up to 512 KB of flash, and a 24-bit counter.
