Designed for harmonic generator applications, the MSD 700 step recovery diodes are epitaxial silicon varactors that provide high output power and high efficiencies. Made using a unique silicon dioxide passivation process, the varactors are claimed to ensure greater stability, reliability and low leakage currents at high temperatures. They are available in various capacitance ranges for each of four voltage ratings. The diodes can be optimized for custom electrical and mechanical specifications, custom capacitance, voltage, resistance, and transition times. And they are available in a wide variety of packages.
