ATEC introduces the EM Test NX7 transient immunity generator to rental inventory

Sept. 12, 2018

Advanced Test Equipment Rentals (ATEC), has announced the introduction of the EM test NX7 transient immunity generator to its rental inventory. ATEC, the leading rental provider of test equipment for EMC, communications, aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, consumer electronics and many other sectors, now offers an economical solution for compliance and pre-compliance immunity testing, as well as CE Marking. The EM Test NX7 offers a multi-functional test generator that meets and exceeds international and product-specific transient and power fail requirements.

The NX7 transient generator is the latest member of the NX family from EM Test. It offers a greater voltage range than that of the NX5 model with a capacity of 7kV. The NX7 is designed with a 7” touch screen that allows the user to perform EFT/Burst testing, surge tests, ringwave tests, and power fail tests. The touch screen and knob allow for fast control of all test parameters of the programmed routine, ensuring that test procedures are simplified. In addition, the NX7 has a built-in single -phase coupling/decoupling network (CDN) that operates with a nominal voltage up to 300V and a nominal current up to 32A single phase. ATEC also offers three-phase high current CDN’s compatible with the NX7 for three-phase or higher current applications. This unit is equipped with IEC.Control software which provides control, documentation, and EM TEST’s comprehensive standards library along with the flexibility to easily generate user specific test sequences.

“Companies can now rent the EM Test NX7 from Advanced Test Equipment Rentals for their research & development stage without having too much of an expense to get the job done.

The unique features of the NX7 will ensure customers will only need one instrument to meet many R&D requisites,” said Jamison Berg, Electrical Engineer at Advanced Test Equipment Rentals.
