AC-DC Current Transducer Touts High Precision

Danisense's compact high-precision fluxgate AC-DC current transducer offers performance levels higher than traditional solutions.

Surpassing performance levels of traditional Hall-effect transducer solutions, the compact MBC4000I fluxgate AC/DC current transducer from Danisense offers high-precision current measurements of up to 4000 A. The transducer leverages the company's stable closed-loop fluxgate technology, providing accuracy below 0.05% over a temperature range from –20 to +85°C.

Additional features include ultra-low sensitivity drift and reliable current output performance, with a large Ø121-mm aperture for busbar applications, a 1:5,000 primary-to-secondary ratio, and minimal offset drift over temperature.

Well-suited for demanding high-current measurement environments, Danisense’s fluxgate measurement technology delivers measurement performance up to 10X greater than that of traditional Hall-effect sensors.
