Engineering on Friday Comic Gallery

Fridays can be crazy or chill. You never know when you're an engineer. My illustrated engineering life right here.

I’ve been drawing and illustrating my whole life.

I’ve been an engineer my whole life, too.

Time to put them together.

Engineering on Friday comes from real engineering on Fridays. Sometimes it was a mad frantic rush to finish a project. Other times, everyone was Nerf battling around the office. Or maybe that early lunch turned into a late one. Maybe we never went back.

Illustrating that engineering life is a life mission for me. "Illustrated Engineering" perhaps? :)

I hand-draw all these comics. I've been drawing this series off and on for over 10 years. Hopefully I can collect them all together here someday.

Hope you enjoy.

April 1, 2026 - How to Set Up a Home Office in 16 Easy Steps

This one was part of Electronic Design's April 1st articles. I didn't want to put all 16 steps here, so check in out through this link. I think it's hilarious.

But, I actually drew this cartoon during the pandemic (on paper). Then redrew it digitally in 2025. Since everyone was putting together a home office durning lockdown, I thought maybe they should try to make it like the real deal.

March 6, 2026 - International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day 2026.

I really liked drawing this one. I tried for a storybook style of the reading girl at the bottom of the image.

December 1, 2023 - Celebrating Field Engineers: The Unsung Heroes of Innovation

Celebrating Field Engineers: The Unsung Heroes of Innovation

My first "Engineering on Friday" comic on Electronic Design!

I forgot, I added to this drawing from 2023, in 2025. This is the updated one. I wanted to add new techniques I've learned recently to the main dude and the robot.

Truth time, this is the 3rd background I made for the characters. I still don't like it. Will I make a new background some day? Most likely. :) Until then...

It's a must read, my celebration of field engineer's article. I used to be one. I know they need more acolades.
