Welcome to Electronic Design's weekly publication where you can find the latest articles, videos, and podcasts. However, this week we're changing things up a bit. We have a couple new items, but we're highlighting some of the best from this year.

Lou Gerstner, former IBM CEO and Technology Innovator, Dies at 83

"Lou Gerstner, IBM CEO from 1993 to 2002, played a pivotal role in keeping the company unified amid industry upheaval, focusing on innovation and digital business support." @ IndustryWeek. IBM has remained a significant company in the electronics and computer industry. Lou was a major factor in its turn around in the 1990s. He expaned the company's focus from hardware to services and software and made major changes in IBM's corporate culture.

I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
