Sansha Electric Manufacturing Co. Ltd., the parent company of SanRex Corp., has expanded its 3-phase bridge diode family to include modules with a built-in thyristor. The DFA Series is designed for 3-phase full-wave rectification requiring soft starting. The built-in thyristor works to prevent inrush current to the circuit with high reliability by eliminating the mechanical relay contact. The DFA Series has very low forward conduction losses (VF/VT) and low thermal resistance (Rthj-c).

Typical applications include motor drives, rectifier in switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), welding and plasma cutting machines, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
