This new member of the company's GTLP portfolio of Gunning Transistor Logic (GTL) devices is a 10-bit universal backplane transceiver designed for use in distributed load environments. The GTLP10B320 offers separate LVTTL inputs and outputs, as well as a feedback path for diagnostics that provides LVTTL-to-GTLP signal-level translation.
Other features of the BiCMOS transceiver include bus-hold on the A port to eliminate the need for external pull-up resistors, power up/down and power off high impedance to support live insertion, and operation at 3.3V. The device delivers 50-mA of drive current for the backplane environment. Price of the transceiver in 56-lead TSSOPs is $7.75 each/1,000+.
