The LS-MLF32A-01 surface-mount adapter allows users to socket an MLF chip having just the SMT pads on the target PCB without any additional space for a socket. The companion SF-MLF32A-01 will attach directly to the target PCB using the same soldering methods as attaching an MLF or QFN IC. The target IC solders to the LS-MLF32A-01 and both parts can interface together via their gold-plated pins. The height of the socket, sans IC, is 5 mm. Pricing for the socket adapter is $94 each/100.
