ZIF Connectors Fit Flex Circuits

Feb. 1, 2000

Designed for terminating flexible printed circuits, the FH17 series of zero insertion force connectors protrude only 1.3 mm above the board surface and is 20% smaller and 35% lighter than firm's FH12 line. The proprietary Flip-Lock design of the hinged actuator allows termination of thee readily available thin FPC with a single finger motion. The contacts are spaced on 0.5-mm centers and connectors come with 10, 20, 24 or 30 positions. The connectors are packaged for high volume board placement with automated equipment.
